The mod is activated upon launch. No in-app purchase prompts appear for premium content. The user navigates to their launcher's icon pack settings and selects Athys. The full icon catalog is immediately available for application.
Athys requires Android 6.0 or higher. It needs approximately 65 MB of storage for the initial installation. Root access is not required. The app must be applied through a supported third-party launcher like Nova, Niagara, or Lawnchair.
Installation involves three steps. First, download the mod APK file. Second, enable installation from unknown sources in Android settings if prompted. Third, open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen installer prompts.
Several edge cases exist. The mod may not apply icons to newly installed apps until the developer updates the pack. Some system-level app icons may not theme if the launcher lacks necessary permissions. Clearing the app data resets any user-applied customizations within the Athys app itself, but the unlocked content remains accessible after re-launch. The mod is designed for offline use; there is no server authentication to bypass.
